Wow how the time flies....

Another week gone by already! Wow. Well nothing much has been going on around here. I've been workin' my butt off, that's for sure. I'm mostly proud to say I finished up ALL of my scrapbooking swaps! YAY! So they're all done and I can concentrate on my scrapping right? ;) Let's see how long it takes me to sign up for more of these damn things. They're so addicting. (ok, they're fun too, and it's a great/easy way to do pages quickly- heck- last night I did TWO pages in the time it would take me to do one since I used the same items on both pages! *L*)

What else is going on here? I'm still plugging along here. *L* We have a golf outting for work on Friday- so I'm doing my darnest to pull that together in this small amount of time. Who knew? *sigh* But I'm sure it'll be great as my events are. ;) *L*

Also- I'm pretty giddy- saw the baby hearbeat today at the sonogram! It was too cute- just a little "blip on the radar" but adorable none the less. :) I got smart this time and asked for some pictures so that I can share. :)

Ok, well dear Kevin just gave me work to do ;) So I'm off! Have a great Wednesday!!!

Another week ahead!

Well, we went to the Racoon parade/fair last week- the kids had a BLAST. I ended up getting those "all you can ride" bands- and since we got there right when they opened (and before the parade started!) The kids had about an hour and a half of ride time! No lines and the people weren't caring how long they stayed on the ride. It was too cute and they had a blast! :) We ended up staying pretty late- until 10pm- but the kids crashed as soon as they got home. Too cute. :)

Nothing much else has happened lately! This weekend we putzed around and went to the drive in. Saw Surf's Up and Shrek 3, really cute movies. :) There is this drive in right by our house but we'd never been there- I was really excited that the prices were so reasonable! (although I didn't like the popcorn- too much butter- but I think Ryan did that *L*) Anyways- that led to the kids sleeping in on Sunday (ok- we ALL slept in, but still *L*)

So that's about it for now- have a great week- and do something nice for someone! :)

Happy happy joy joy!!!

Wow. Really. Just wow. We found out yesterday that our pregnancy test after the transfer is POSTIVE!!! Our BETA was 152- so it's really exciting! I called Mommy and she's just blown away. :) We're all so excited about this next part of our journey!

Ryan is just being too cute- he's already fawning over me and taking really good care of me. Just reminds me always how fortunate I am to have found him (even if it WAS in a bar *L*)

We're probably going to the Racoon parade tonight so I'm sure I'll be taking pictures. :) Will try and post more tomorrow!!!

Well howdoya like that??

Driving to work this morning I heard a song- some Country song about if I could change things I'd start with me. Started me thinking.... are people generally unhappy with themselves and lives?? During my one hour travels back and forth to work I have lots of time to count my blessings.
*I have a wonderful husband- second to none- one who is my true soul mate, my best friend. *Three beautiful children whom I adore.
*Four furbabies that can make me smile at the most crazy times.
*A job that I love and that pays my bill on top of that. I know studies show that many people are unhappy at their jobs- and I'm so proud and happy that I'm not one of them!!!

What more does a girl need in life??

So- my challenge to you today- make a list of the things that make you happy. Then make sure to keep it somewhere so when you're having a bad day you can be reminded of all the reason you should be HAPPY! :) Or even better? Post it on your blog! :)

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!

Long time no see!!!

Wow- things have been so crazy here I've just NOT had time to write!! I've finally moved upstairs here at work and am really starting to get into this Project Management thing. So far so good- my biggest problem is (as strange as it is) getting use to only working 40 hours a week! I keep waking up all early and just want to GO GO GO- so please tell me what normal people do in the mornings! I hate sticking around the house because I'm afraid the kids will wake up and throw a fit when I leave. Maybe I'll have to see about working 7- 3:30 instead or something. (at least until winter when I sleep in a bit more *L*)

Speaking of sleeping in- we have a few visitors outside my bedroom window. A few wrens built a nest (well, a mansion as Ryan calls it *L* The thing IS huge!) and I heard little peeps in there last night. Unfortunately I couldn't see them, but I heard 'em and know they're there! *L* Threw some bread up there for them and put more seeds out for the rest of the family- so they should be all good. ;)

And as far as families- my extended network is going well. Jason has called once and sent me two letters - he loves getting mail but I only have so much to tell him. *L* If anyone would love to write him or drop him a little 'attaboy' card just let me know and I'll send on his address. :) He graduates at the end of July and I'm hoping that we'll be able to take a few days and get down there to see him. :)

Also, we find out on Monday if this transfer worked. I'm FEELING preggo- but that doesn't mean much I'm sure. *L* I'm really wanting to get a stick test to take so that *I* know, but we'll see. I'm just going to continue to keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best- I can't wait to help fulfill my IP (Intended Parents) dreams of being a Mommy and Daddy! They're so sweet and deserving!

Oh! And while we were in NJ that last week of May we also took a day trip over to New York City. Drove around and saw sights like Chinatown, the Statue of Liberty (from Battery park), the sites of the World Trade Center, rode the subway, etc. We also had the privilege of seeing Truck 10. Wow. Talk about wow. It was so cool- and the best was that they got a call while we were standing there! Ryan was so giddy. My sad news is that I didn't wait for them to come back to get a picture with them but we did get a few of the station and the trucks. *sigh*

Such is life right? Anyways, I have a Ladies Auxillary meeting tonight- so that should be interesting. Since I was here at 7 maybe I'll get to leave at 3:30 right? ;) Then I can hit the mall before hand and check out the Bath and Body works Semi Annual sale. :)

Enjoy the nice weather and be nice to someone today! ;)

Another day another post....

I love that the week is 1/2 over already. Just feels good. *L* This weekend is shot, not like I get a break, but it should be fun! We're taking the kids to see Thomas the Train on Saturday- and the best part is it's a complete surprise- they have NO idea. :) It's going to be too much fun! On Sunday Christian makes his first communion- so I'm exited for that, too. (that and the REALLY cute pictures I'll get to take *L*)

Speaking of pictures, check these out...

First one is Jason and Danielle, Second is the whole gang of us, Third is Jason and me!

We went down to the park on Mother's Day to hang out- these are of us with Jason and Danielle. Jason is a friend of ours from the fire department- he's actually on his way to Army basic training RIGHT NOW. So any thoughts and prayers you can spare for him I'd appreciate it. It's going to be a tough 10 weeks for him, I'm sure, and I know we're going to miss him here. He's such a sweet guy! :)
Yesterday I headed down to MD to check out High Point Farms for our company picnic- pretty neat place! The food was awesome- the sites are nice and spacious. Very cool. :)
So... that's about all for now, I believe. Enjoy your day (even if it's raining there too. ;) and have fun!!!

TGIF!

OMG- don't you just LOVE LOVE LOVE Fridays???? I'm so giddy- have that 'kid in a candy store' feeling that I can't shake- just can't wait to get home! *L*

Today I rode Baby to work again- and even took her up to the doctors. I done did good! I'm so much more at ease on her now, I just love riding that thing! *L* Now she's sitting outside all lonely... she's really bored. ;) *L*

Ok- go here-
http://www.avrillavigne.com/videos

And click on the Girlfriend video. Holy hell. I've always liked Miss Avril but WOW- this song just does it for me. I freakin' LOVE it!!!! :)

So yup, that makes me more happy today. Today can't get any better- really.

Ok, anyways, now that you all think I'm on some good drugs today since I'm having a HAPPY PERIOD- yup another story- here we go...

Any woman has seen the little sticky tabs on the insides of those wonderful products that we must use every month, right? (boys- if you haven't go check it out, ok? *L*) Well, apparently my favorite company, Always, decided to add a little saying inside there. I look down last month and see "HAVE A HAPPY PERIOD!" O.M.G. Honestly. It was either a brilliant woman or a dumb man that thought this one up, folks. At first I though "no way. there's NO way someone did that" But you know what? It's been THE joke since then. When I was having a bad day yesterday what did I get in the mail from my best friend? Yes. A note that said "Oh, just have a FREAKIN' HAPPY PERIOD, DAMMIT!!" (yes, in BIG RED letters- and, yes, I laughed my ASS off.) So- when you're having a bad day, or need a laugh, remember- HAVE A HAPPY PERIOD!

Ok, enough of the ranting for today. ;) Ya'll have a great weekend, be safe and have fun!!!! Hopefully the weather is as gorgeous there as it is here!!!
