It's FRIDAY! It's friday, it's friday, it's friday! Yup. I love these days. :) Passing time here at work until this afternoon- then it's to the crop! I'm heading out after work to go to a scrapping retreat. :) YAY! I have all my stuff packed up and ready to go- just as soon as work is over I'm on my way! :)





Got a TON of page kits all made, embellishments and adhesives packed- I'm hoping I didn't forget anything major. *L* The credit cards are in tow as well- I'm really excited about this for some reason. Usually I hate going to these things alone- I know a few gals that will be there but I have NO idea who I'll be sitting with or anything. Kinda nerve-racking, but such is life, right? And if I don't know anyone I'll get more pages done, right? :)

Got a really cute one of the kids too, but there are a ton of power lines and I'm not sure I like it too much. *sigh* Such is life. ;)

Going today to have a root canal done. Not really high on my list of fun things to do- but this darned tooth is starting to hurt- so if this is going to make it better then so be it.

Now the real question is- am I going to bring my butt back to work or am I going home afterwards. That won't be known until after all is said and done. One more hour to go. *insert eye roll here*

Happy news is that I am going away on a scrapping retreat this weekend. Right now I'm going it 'alone' - there will be girls there that I KNOW, but none of my bestest gal pals. It's just too bad I couldn't get my mom to come and make cards or something. *L* I just like the familiarity of having SOMEONE there- but I'm sure it'll be a nice little "mini-me" vacation. Right now I'm planning on coming home on Saturday night- but we'll see. I'd hate to not spend a day this weekend with the kids, so even though the retreat is thru Sunday, after dinner on Saturday I'll probably be packing up to head home.

Besides that there is just SO much going on this week- and next! I have running to do while at work, seems like my desk keeps getting piled w/work. Tonight I have to go help at a church- doing something crafty for them- next night is a FD fundraiser, Thurs is our elementary schools open house, and Friday I'm leaving for the retreat. *sigh*

NEXT week on Friday my buddy Jason comes home. :) VERY excited and even more happy that we're getting to pick him up at the airport. :) Yup. I'll have the camera in hand, I promise. *L* Needless to say during his 2 week leave we'll be having a fire/party at our house, I'm sure. And this fall weather is going to be PERFECT for it!!!

On Saturday is the Craft Show for the Fire Dept. So I have to make goodies for THAT too. (Ya know how people say that they wish they had more time in a day/week/month? Yeah. that.)

Not sure how I'm going to get this all done, but I have a feeling I'll be up REALLY late on Friday baking cookies. *L* Either that or taking off on Friday is an option, but we'll see. I feel like I've been taking off work lots lately and "making my own schedule"- but it could be just me. *L* I, like others, tend to be super critical of myself.

Ok, anways, that's about all for right now. :)

No matter who you are you've got to love Fridays!!! It's just the best of all days- knowing you get a WHOLE TWO DAYS to do whatever. :) I love it!

Nothing crazy planned this weekend. My favorite person is suppose to visit on Saturday and then Sunday I'll be going to Pat Catans to participate in a scrapping/stamping event. Can't wait for that one- it should be fun!!

What else? Everyone in the world just about knows now that I'm carrying a baby GIRL!!! I'm so excited- pink is such a fun color. *L* ;)

Isn't that beautiful??? The 70's is just the MOST perfect of all weathers- I'm going to be IN my element this week! :)

Aside from that not much has been going on. I get to go to the hospital on Friday for a sonogram- can't wait to see what kinda peanut this is! *L* I'm even more excited to tell his (Cause I'm just 90% sure that it's a boy) parents about it! I only wish I could be there to see the look on their faces! *L*

OH well, going to get to work here- just another Monday in the neighborhood! :)

Happy day to me!

Well, today is the day. One more year closer to the big 30. Wow. Some days I just feel like I'm getting so dang old!

Funniest thing that has happened? Well, sit down for a story. :) My two bestest pals in the world and one of them is Chinese (and we all met online BTW). Well, I let it slip to the other that I KNEW that Ms. Chinese didn't SPEAK Chinese all the time, but I still had that fear that she'd have some sort of Chinese accent. (I know, dumb, right?) So of course she tells her this story, and we all laugh at me and life goes on, right? No. I get about 7 emails yesterday in 7 different languages. None of which I can read. *L* So I go to the free translators and try to make some sense. Yeah. Didn't work at ALL. So now we're all rolling at what these translations- which were put in there IN english and translated into a different language- aren't coming back right at ALL. Interesting. Very interesting.

Anyways- not much planned here today. Hoping to not stay up past 10pm tonight- this girl needs her beauty sleep, ya know? ;)

The DH is also saying he thinks I should sell some of my cards, scrapbook pages, and the like at our Fire Dept. Craft sale. We'll see. I'm thinking I might wait until Spring and do a table once a year. We'll see. :)
