Well, almost. :) In about 13 hours we'll be in 2008- isn't it neat? It's amazing to me how quickly this year went by- and how much has happened! Makes you really think about how time flies. Enjoy each day to the fullest. Appreciate the kids because they really grow up WAY to quickly. :)
I'm really looking forward to sitting down on the couch with Ryan tonight and just having some down/cuddle time. Thinking it would be neat if we did a few "top 10" lists for our 2007 but we'll see. (cause I dunno if he'd be such a willing participant as I'd want him to be *L*) and I'm not sure the kids will cooperate. ;)
Aside from all that things are going well here. My back has been hurting- which is to be expected with this extra belly weight on *L*. I'm really proud that I haven't gained too much weight and we're in the homestretch here. :)
Speaking of baby stuff- we watched a movie last night- Knocked Up. What a waste of 2 hours of my life!! My mom and dad were telling us how funny it is- but I just didn't see it. Oh well. Here's to hoping I can find a better/funny movie to watch tonight, right? :)
Also kicking around making the drive to Hobby Lobby today or tomorrow. They're having a GREAT sale and I really need to go and get a few more albums and things. (more scrapping stuff that I won't use... that will just sit sit sit. *sigh*) Which is why I don't want to go... but it's pulling me. ;) If I go and get the albums then I'll be able to get more layouts out of the cabinets and into books. Then I'll have more space in there for things. I'd also like to get some more vertical storage things for the stack of papers that are sitting on my shelf. But in my mind if I don't get the storage, and actually USE the papers I'll be golden, right???? (which means I have to get more pictures printed and that's going to be a huge bill in itself- I haven't printed out pictures in FOREVER.) See how horrible a circle this scrapbooking stuff is? *L* Maybe I just need to sit down and make some cards or something just so that I'm getting SOMETHING done, right?
I've been telling Ryan I need to revamp my area a bit. He's trying so hard to make me happy, I know he is. But I'm really wanting to make what I have here work for me. All this change is driving me nuts- I had the same itty bitty room with the same set up for years and it worked great for me. Now I think I have too much space and I'm just overwhelmed. Hm.
OH well, enough rambling here. :) I hope you have a great New Year with lots of fun surprises in store. Bye!!!

Tis the week before Christmas....
and things are a mess! *L* Wow- so much going on and no time to do a thing! I swear I might need a whole week off before Christmas just to BE ready, but that's another story, right? Can I tell you that I haven't finished shopping yet either? *sigh* Really on top of things here, right? :)
Anyways, getting there really. :)
Anyone else having a fun holiday?? I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas with your families- and will even take it a step further and say I hope YOU can be stress free! :)
Lots of HUGS!

Ok, WHO ordered this week to drag on like this???!
*sigh* honestly. It should be friday twice over already! (or should I be complaining that the week is about over and I've gotten nothing done?? Hm.)
This weekend is all about Christmas, hopefully. I have to finish buying, start wrapping, cookie baking... next week is just nuts, but I do love the placement of Christmas this year. ;) Nice to have a three day weekend BEFORE Christmas, although I am going to hate dragging myself out of bed the day after to come to work.
Also, this weekend I'm hoping to get all my swaps finished and swapped out... and postal on Monday morning. :) Then I'll have a kinda clean house as there won't be a gazillion packages sitting next to my scrapping area. (ok, slight exaggeration on the amount of packages- DH will tell you there HAS been more than this before... but I'm so close to my hiatus. :)
Speaking of DH- his surgery was fine- he's recouping now. :) I'm just hoping it fixed him... I really don't like seeing him hurt like that. :(
Anyways- back to work here for now. :) Enjoy your weekend!!!!

um. oops?
Yup, I know- it's been a month- a WHOLE month- since my last post. I stink and I'm sorry. ;) Lots of stuff going on here- (which means WATCH OUT, this one is going to be a long one! *L*)
Went to visit family in SC right before Thanksgiving- that was fun! Got some cute pictures of the kids at the beach, lots of fun with the family, etc. Here's a quickie from the ride home:
Very pretty- we were excited to drive home during the day since we usually only drive at night. Main reason was that Ryan wanted to go to Joe Gibbs racing on the way. ;) But the kids were AWESOME for being in the car that long, we had a great time, and I even got to go to a great scrapbook store!!! Found ALL the papers for my swaps and lucky for DH I wasn't in the mood to expand the current stash. *ROFL*
Then we had ANOTHER Thanksgiving w/my family on Turkey day, so that was fun. (even though I was SO tired, but that's ok *L*)
Black Friday was FREEZING here- but I managed to get out of bed and go shopping for a bit. Didn't get much of anything done, but I went. :) Hit Toys R Us (and it was WAY to busy, so I walked right back out), went to the mall and went to KB's, Macy's, JC Penny's, ect. Then over to Home Depot, drove thru and saw how crazy Target was, and then hit Michael's to use the 25% off your purchase. After that I gave up. *L* Came home thinking I would shop online but that was moot- there wasn't anything really great to be found. (seems to be the norm every year- I remember a few years ago I did ALL my shopping at Target in about 3 hours and was DONE. Why don't retailers give you a few great deals and make you want to shop there anymore? This one thing at Walmart, one thing at Target, one thing at Toys R Us.... causes nothing but irritations in my book!)
Anyways. After that we decided that not having ANY leftovers for Thanksgiving stunk, so we ran out on Saturday and got a chicken, fixings, ect. and then after getting our tree on Sunday (it's the cutest tree, btw. *L* The first time I've had a real tree- it's pretty neat ;) then made this big dinner and decorated the house a bit.
DH is going to have surgery on his arm tomorrow so we've been jam packed trying to do all the things that we need to do before the holidays that HE needed to help with. *L* So we're about three weeks to Christmas and even though I don't have much done I'm feeling ok with things.
Wednesday is the Ladies Auxillary Christmas party, too. So I'm gearing up for that. Have to do a bit more shopping for it today/tonight and I'm just about done. It might not be as wonderful as some years, but I've busted my butt for it for sure! I made about 6 or 7 kinds of cookies this weekend so that we'd have a homemade cookie tray, made christmas crackers for the settings, and did a bunch of handmade gifts for door prizes. :) I had fun making them, so that was important, too, right? ;) Finished a shadow box, three sets of coasters, two altered clipboards, four card holders w/4 cards in them each, and did an ornament for each person and an altered calendar. Whew. That seems like alot of work and I'm not even done yet! *L* I have to either make or buy 4-5 more things, plus wrap this all up for Wednesday. But after Wednesday night? I'm going to feel SO danged happy that THAT is over. *L*
The rest of the week is pretty laid back- since Ry is having surgery I'm taking the rest of the week off/ won't be in the office- so I'm hoping to hang out with the kids, wrap some presents, and get things done around the house. :) And scrapbook of course. Finish other christmas gifts, etc. etc. etc. Saturday we're having a Christmas party for work, so that'll be fun!
The nice thing is that Christmas is on a Tuesday and we have Monday off, too, so I'll get a four day weekend. :)
Anyways, going to end this one for now and go and catch up on some friends lives on their blogs. ;) *hugs!* to you all that read this! Later!!!!!
