The HOT is back!!!!

Urg. I HATE when it's hot and in the 90's. Blech. :( Give me a sunny 70's day anytime!!!

Last night it was nice though- and I decided to take the kids and dogs outside and take some pictures- I have three pieces of acrylic that I'm dying to play with- but no pictures to go with them. In my mind I'm seeing a 5x7 picture on each piece (they're 8 1/2 by 11ish each)... I was going to do one of each of the pictures of the kids to make them into a wall hanging- but decided that I already have the frames in my office of the kids- so I'd do something with the dogs. (hence the photo shoot last night :)

After that was all said and done and the kids started driving me crazy we came inside for a bit. Got them a snack (strawberry shortcake- YUM!) And then started playing with my scrapping stuff. I've been checking out this site:

I actually posted it on our swapping group last weekend and everyone else seems to like it too- so it's not just me and my warped sense of humor! :)

Heya all!

Nothing much going on in this part of the world- except it being HOT HOT HOT!!! Omgosh- the heater can turn OFF now! I am almost wishing for cold and snow again! I have to say, breezy with a high of 75 is a perfect day for me... these 90's are ICK!!!





Anyways, the weekend was a good one spent sleeping/napping, eating here and there and scrapping/crafting! It was just too danged hot to do anything else- and besides, I got a new font for my Revolution on Saturday morning so who am I not to play with a new toy?!? :)





Here are a few things that I wanted to share:





First my scrapping space! Ry says I'm slowly taking over the entire living room- but it's SO nice to be right with everyone and now holed away in some closet or another room! This is the left side of the room- completed with custom made peg board (THANK YOU RYAN! My DH is such a great woodworker!) and my Ikea Expedit. (And don't mind the mess- I'm barely unpacked from the retreat last weekend! *L*) That and I'm STILL getting things where I'd like them!

If you're facing that expedit and turn the the right there are two of the Store in Style cubes with a basket and those Target wire cubes turned paper holders. Along with a HUGE window that take up the length of the whole wall. Great lighting, lemme tell you! :) Turn another right and you'll see this:
A counter with upper and lower cabinets with a few shelves. All my primas are over there on the left in those little shelves along with the few bottles of stickles that I have. Love 'em! Stuff everywhere... I SO need to get in there and organize! Every time I think I'm going to I remember that Dear Dear Hubby wants to redo the floor in the living room... so as soon as I get that ALL of it put where I'd like he'll tear it all apart and I'll be back to square one!

Yet another day...

Wow. How about our Pens? Huh?! :) Congrats to the boys for playing such a great season!!! We're all proud of you!!!

What a tiring few weeks here! Last weekend was spend catching up and scrapping with the girls. I was so danged tired I ended up taking monday off to try and catch up- but now the 4 1o's are kicking my butt. Add in the little things to do in between (baseball games, Ladies Auxillary dinner, Penguins game) and I'm one tired chicka! I'm hoping that life comes back to normal next week- or as normal as it usually is- especially since we have no plans this weekend. :) I'm looking forward to getting the rest of my scrapping stuff put away and life back to normal. (and sleeping in past 5am. :)

Good news is that I got LOTS done at the retreat. We had a fabulous time and it was so wonderful seeing everyone again. We decided that two years in between or even the usual one was just too long of a time- so we're scheduling another one for October. I'm lucky to have such a wonderful DH- after telling him this on Sunday night he's like "go for it!" ;)

Anyways, back to work here for a bit!! :)
