Happy Halloween!!!

What a wonderful way to end the week! This post has only been in the works for a few days *insert eyeroll here* I had such a nice post all typed out and ready to go and something screwed up. :(

Anyways- last weekend was our "girls weekend!" It was just AWESOME! The kids help me pack up the car and after I dropped them at school I was outtie! I got to the center a little after 9am. I got all set up and went to play outside with my camera! Look at the beautiful trees we had to look at....

My BFF got there shortly after- right at 10! Here's what her car looked like:

Apparently there was an overturned newspaper truck and it looked like lots of snow everywhere!

So we got everything set up for our table and started scrappin'! It was strange because nobody really showed up early- right around 3pm is when the masses started arriving! AK and Melissa finally got there, and a few other girlies that the weekend wouldn't be awesome without!

Let's say the whole weekend I got about 7 hours of sleep- which seems to be par for these. Friday night Lisa, Chris and I were doing shots and somehow I managed to stay up until about 4, woke back up at 7am.

Saturday rocked- we scrapped a TON, misbehaved, and were just having plain fun. Let's just say we'll ALWAYS remember that the state liquor store closes at 9pm. EVERY night. ;) And the porn shop in Moon? It's gross and scary. And that little boys with foriegn cars hang out at Sheetz for some reason... and they have RUDE girls with them. :)

Saturday night? Up until 4 again back up at 8am.

Sunday is such a hard day because you know you're in the "home stretch." There's only a few hours left to get all your scrappy-ness done. Ryan stopped up with the kids and we took some pictures- these are a few of my favorites:

I know the lighting in this picture sucks, but I'll fix it at some point- or at least try really hard cause I love it. :)

Needless to say for the first time ever at about 3pm I was still cruising along and not wanting to pack up at ALL. But we did and got back to my house at about 5pm.

Grand total for the weekend: 51 12x12 pages and a little 6x6 mini book from the pumpkin patch last year! Not to shabby at all- actually I think it's the most I've ever gotten done!!!

Scrappin' dayz of October

Well, in 24 more hours I'll be at the retreat center getting things ready for the girls! YAY! There won't be a ton to do this year since it's our first "no frills" retreat- but I'm really looking forward to seeing the old faces, and a few new ones!!

Today during lunch I have to run out and get pop, water, M&M's, and some chips. Tonight I'll be getting page kits ready, packing up my stuff, and hopefully doing some baking. :) I'm thinking some brownies or cupcakes... something fun. There's only 14 of us, so not a whole lot to do or make for that matter! :)

Amid all this 'to do' stuff Ryan got sick last night. I'm really hoping that he isn't passing it around because I do NOT want to be sick this weekend!!!

Well, off to finish up some work here and get some 'lists' ready! :) Adios!

Sorry- been MIA!

Hello blogging world! Been so nutso crazy here for awhile! Ryan's surgery is done and he's home recooping! He did really well and we were home by about 9:30am (yup, he had to be there at 6:15am on a friday. just nuts!) Needless to say we were up until about midnight on Thursday trying to get as much done on the living room as we could.

We did really good though! We got the living room painted and the carpet laid down. The dining room is still a work in progress but we can actually LIVE in our living room now. It's so nice!!!

Here are a few pictures.... (again- it was REALLY late- ignore the dust/dirt/etc.!) And of course these pictures ARE a few weeks old, so really things are getting back in their spaces now! *L*

And my little scrapping space!!! We got a new desk which was GOING to be the computer desk...(the wood one) but I loved it so much I stole it for my scrapping area! *L* Then the obvious thing was to take the little black desk that I WAS going to use and put the computer on it. (which I did the next day :)

It's awesome that we can sit side by side now and I can scrap while Ry is on the computer. And now that I'm a bit more comfortable I'm actually scrapping again! YAY!

What else is going on?? Oh! Yesterday I went to Target (which was freaky-dead for the middle of the day! Wow this economy is scary right now!!!) to get one of those exercise balls to sit on while I'm at work. I sat on it for about 3 hours yesterday and WOW was I sore when I got home!!! I can feel something is working here- hopefully it's the right way and not breaking me! *L*

Anyways, fall is coming and the leaves are starting to change... it's one of my favorite times of the year! :) I'll see if I can't get some pictures taken sometime soon. ;) Have a good one and I'll check back in later!!!!
