Another day another post....

I love that the week is 1/2 over already. Just feels good. *L* This weekend is shot, not like I get a break, but it should be fun! We're taking the kids to see Thomas the Train on Saturday- and the best part is it's a complete surprise- they have NO idea. :) It's going to be too much fun! On Sunday Christian makes his first communion- so I'm exited for that, too. (that and the REALLY cute pictures I'll get to take *L*)

We went down to the park on Mother's Day to hang out- these are of us with Jason and Danielle. Jason is a friend of ours from the fire department- he's actually on his way to Army basic training RIGHT NOW. So any thoughts and prayers you can spare for him I'd appreciate it. It's going to be a tough 10 weeks for him, I'm sure, and I know we're going to miss him here. He's such a sweet guy! :)

Yesterday I headed down to MD to check out High Point Farms for our company picnic- pretty neat place! The food was awesome- the sites are nice and spacious. Very cool. :)

Today I rode Baby to work again- and even took her up to the doctors. I done did good! I'm so much more at ease on her now, I just love riding that thing! *L* Now she's sitting outside all lonely... she's really bored. ;) *L*

Ok, anyways, now that you all think I'm on some good drugs today since I'm having a HAPPY PERIOD- yup another story- here we go...

Any woman has seen the little sticky tabs on the insides of those wonderful products that we must use every month, right? (boys- if you haven't go check it out, ok? *L*) Well, apparently my favorite company, Always, decided to add a little saying inside there. I look down last month and see "HAVE A HAPPY PERIOD!" O.M.G. Honestly. It was either a brilliant woman or a dumb man that thought this one up, folks. At first I though "no way. there's NO way someone did that" But you know what? It's been THE joke since then. When I was having a bad day yesterday what did I get in the mail from my best friend? Yes. A note that said "Oh, just have a FREAKIN' HAPPY PERIOD, DAMMIT!!" (yes, in BIG RED letters- and, yes, I laughed my ASS off.) So- when you're having a bad day, or need a laugh, remember- HAVE A HAPPY PERIOD!

Another week...

Whew! Time just flies when you have fun, doesn't it???

Friday I left work early and went home to spend time with the family- Ryan ended up doing some running around and the kids (the furs and the normal ones! *L*) and I walked up to get Ty from school. One of his friends walked home with us and ended up staying to play for a bit. After he went home we made dinner and some cookies- fun stuff. ;)

Saturday we went to our nephew's game, out to dinner, and back home again for motor cycle class on Sunday.

THAT was fun! We did all sorts of exercises (like running over 2x4's! *L*) and then took our tests. Both Ryan and I PASSED! Can you believe it! *L*

So Monday morning, what did I do?? Yup. Brought Baby on her first trip to work! I didn't do too badly. Stalled her three times- all at stop lights when I thought I was in first but was really in second. Luckily I'm a quick learner- so I don't think that'll be happening again. *L* But I wasn't quite ready to ride home in all that Cranberry traffic, so Ryan drove her home. (He had to come up for a doc appts and we hit a pizza place for dinner and then JoAnn Fabrics)

I know he doesn't want me to post this here, but I have to. GUESS who was shopping for Scrapbooking supplies last night?! Yup. Ryan. In all his glory. ;) He lost a bet with me and now has to do a scrapping page. It's just too danged cute! I'll take a picture of it and post it (IF!) and when he's done with it. I have a feeling I'm going to be nagging a bit before he'll git'er done. :) *L*

Well, back to work here- there's SO much to do!!!

Gotta love Friday's- even better are those just GORGEOUS days- the sun shining, birds singing- and you wishing you were anywhere BUT work. *L* (But when the boss says you can leave at noon? Makes it a bit better. *L*)

So first and foremost I have to say HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to my wonderful DH, Ryan. I can't believe it's been 5 whole years already. :) Here's to 45 more- I love you babe!!!

Now, someone wanted to see a picture of my bike (GWEN! ;) Here she is... yes, of COURSE I already did a scrapbook layout of her- are you kidding? *L* (And if I get ONE post about "Where is your helmet?"- I had one on, really- AFTER the picture... what good is a pic of me w/my helmet- how would you even know it was me?! *L*) Anyways-

Isn't she purdy??? I'm thinking I need to make a mini book of her or something- really play with the camera and the macro mode a bit, but we'll see. Maybe later today or tomorrow. *L*

Speaking of which- Ryan and I had our last motorcycle classroom class last night. Took the written test and all- we both passed with a 96% and only 2 wrong on the 50 question test. YAY US!!!! Now for the riding part on Sunday. I'm hoping to get my girl out and practice a bit more before then, but we'll have to see. Saturday is going to be a long day. :) And I'm slightly afraid that since the bike we're riding at the range is different than mine that it might throw me off a bit... but we'll see. I really am excited to ride. Ryan is laughing at me when I told him for about 2 weeks now I've been mentally prepping myself to ride to work. Kinda doing that "ok, I'd slow down here, shift here, lean here" kinda thing. I think I'm ready. *L*

Another crazy week ahead....

Wow. WHAT another crazy weekend!! Someone stop the world because I would LIKE a break, please. ;)

Saturday morning was pretty mundane- hanging out at the house, then grocery shopping and running around helping my brother move. OMG I didn't realize how dang cute his dog is now! And he's done so much work with him- just a really great dog now. :)

Sunday Ry and I had motorcycle class. I definitely wasn't top of the class, but I held my own. :) Needless to say it was fun and I'm pretty excited for next weekends class. Although I don't think Ryan is too happy that I want to get a new bike now- riding cruisers are SO different from the crotchrocket that we have! So.... we shall see. *L*

So not much going on this week, either, since it's the first week of the month Ryan and I both have meetings at the firehouse and that fun stuff. My nephew has some baseball games this week too that I'd love to go to. :) So we shall see!

On Friday Ryan and I get to celebrate 5 wonderful years together. I haven't decided what to do to surprise him yet... maybe we'll just stay home and scrapbook. *L* ;) I'm sure he'd LOVE to do that. (YES, dear, I DO know that you "owe me a page"... one of these days, right? :)

Wow. WHAT a weekend!!

Talk about beautiful!! We had SUCH a good time- basically spent most of the time outside playing, but it was great. :) I've never seen the kids and dogs SO tired than Sunday night! *L*

On Saturday Ryan and Jason went riding for awhile while I watched the kids- that night we had a fire and had people over. Jason is such a blast- I just love him! Buddy- I'm going to really miss you when you leave for Basic Training, but I know you'll do great at it!!!

Anyways, that was fun and we were all up WAY to late!! The next morning I had to run and get Christian from CCD. He was in great spirits, though, and decided to amuse Mom on the way home by letting her take pictures. :) Here's one of my fav's-

So anyways, we got home and I was content to scrapbook the day away, but Jason had other plans. ;) He stopped over and told me to get dressed, we were going riding. Needless to say I'm not super comfy on the road yet. So the idea was for Ryan and Jason to take the bikes, me drive the van w/the kids and we headed up to Racoon Creek State Park.

Yup. Rode Baby again- put a few miles on her and didn't do too badly. ;) I'm eager for the class to start this week... so we'll see! :)

Almost Friday!

YAY!!! Not only is it already warmer today than it's been all week but the sun is shining, birds are singing, boss isn't here today, and it's almost the weekend! :)

I was amazed, for anyone who knows me I'm not a big TV watcher. I know some times you just have to veg out- but there's so many other things I could be doing with my time. *L* Anyways, last night I heard Fergie was going to be on American Idol- so it was a no miss. (and she sane one of my favorite songs and really- just an amazing singer. Check out her CD if you don't already have it!!) But those kids on AI??? They can SING! (ok, aside from the one that SHOULD have been gone a long time ago- but we'll save that for later. *L*) I'm banking on Jordin or Melinda to win- although that Chris is a cutie, isn't he???

Anyways, aside from that the only thing going on here is my best pal Chris and I are planning out scrapping gettaway for July. :) The CK convention will be back in Valley Forge and we're deciding what the heck we're doing for it- are we even going, taking classes, what? *L* I really hate that they jack up the hotel room so much- I mean really. $130 a night is just too danged expensive- especially at three nights. Plus classes, plus food... and let's not forget the shopping. ;)
