Until I get some GIRL TIME!!! WOOHOOO! ;)

Very excited for my bff to be coming down and spending the weekend at my house- especially after a canceled trip since she's frequently broken lately. ;) I've told her she better wrap herself up in some bubble wrap cause if she doens't come I'm going to drive up there and put her in the hospital. (to which we giggled like mad rabbits) And NO, not just a dinky ER visit either. (more giggles) Because her children said that I could "kick her butt" this past weekend. *L*

Oh well, not sure what we're going to do yet or what kinda trouble Pgh will be in... guess you'll have to wait and see if we're on the news. *L*

Four day work weeks are SO so nice. I think EVERY week should be four days... just sayin'.

Without further yappin'- here's my card!!!

It's a birthday card that I made for a great friend of mine :)

I used American Crafts cardstock and paper, the cupcake stamp set from www.papermakeup.com, not to mention stickles, stazon ink, and my colored pencils :)

Right now they're having a contest called the 1st Annual Ultimate Card Showdown! It looks like alot of fun and I really liked the sketch so I gave it a shot. ;) (ok, and at the time there were about 20 people in the running and I thought my odds were pretty good. Now there are WAY over 100! But I figured since I already DID the card I may as well post it, right? ;)

So, without further chatter on my end, here's my little card! :)

Papers are bazzill and American Crafts.
The ribbon was from Micheal's $1 bin!
And I used the threading water punch from Fiskars for the border.
It's hard to see the shimmer on the cupcake, but there are some Stickles on there too :)

Been hiding....

Not too much going on! Plus I've been on Facebook alot and for some reason don't see the point in doing both things. *L* A quick recap:

Jan- nothing? *L* Started back to school to finish my associates in business mgt.

Feb- went to LA for the Grammy's. What an amazing weekend. It was great to get away alone with Ryan for a bit! Great pictures and we just had so much fun!! LA was neat to visit- although I'd never want to live there! :P

Katies 1st birthday (Yay!) and Ally's 5th! Happy Birthday girls!!!

We also had a baby shower for my new nephew. :)

April- Meetings for work, bike blessing planning and execution, still going to accounting classes. Went to the Symphony to watch Sarah rock the house. Planning for the scrapping retreat that WAS three days.. then four... then five.

April/beginning of May- Had a fun week with the girls- good times, and lots of misbehavin'. :) I hated going home after that weekend- was just way too much fun!

Mid May- Had a kick butt surprise party for Ry's 30th. At the fire house in North Fayette- so we were the first rental! Great party- lots of friends, food, and beer pong. *L* Everyone stayed up WAY to late and had a wonderful Saturday to recover. Ry was totally surprised :)

Graduation from college on the 17th. Jursye's birthday party. Holiday.

And here we are in June :) Got a new car and just getting into the summer life! Here's the new girl...

Just starting the day here and got an email from Arts Cow- it's my photo place that I love. (well one of them!) You can get a crazy amount of prints right now if you sign up - 1200 free prints! Holy snow....

Well, as I type it's snowing like crazy outside. Amazing to me that the weather can change so much in no time! The kids were off school today and I'm hoping they don't have a repeat performance tomorrow! I only wish I had my camera with me right now! The ice was amazing this morning but by the time I got out to take pictures it had started to rain... and that's no fun!

Aside from that I started back to school on Monday! It's my last accounting class that I need for my Associates in Business Mgt. This has been about 8 years in the making... it's taken forever for me to get off my butt and do this. I'm so proud of myself and really trying for an A!!!

My other 'fun' class is a photography class thru CCAC. Super excited for that but it's an online class, which I've never done. So we'll see how that works out for me!!

More big news is that I won a trip to LA to see the Grammy's!!! It was a contest the local radio station was running and I happened to be one of the 20 people to qualify to win the trip... and then I got the phone call on Friday to tell me that I won! DH and I have been just in a state of excitement all weekend. He's ever been that far west.. it's like watching a kid in a candy store. *L* He's making plans of things to do and stuff to see... I can't wait to just be alone with him on a trip.... which I think will be the first time ever for our marriage. *L*

Anyways, I'll write more later.... going to see how the roads are doing and what the weather is planning and get a bit of work done! :) Later!!!
