yet another week....

I'm not sure why- but I feel like I got so much done this week! I started Christmas presents already, can you believe it??? I'll just be glad to have them done but I feel so great about it! Alot to make this year though- and I HAVE to find stamps that I want to use for a few of them- and I'm being uber picky. I might just have to go to the stamping store that I always forget about. *eyeroll* Not far from work, but not close by either. Have to see, I suppose.

Also- a little over 1/2 done with this HUGE report that I'm working on here at work. I can not WAIT to be done with this thing- but I feel like Supergirl that I've kicked so much butt on it this week! :)

Also, Wednesday was Trick or Treat- the kids had a GREAT time and got a TON of candy (yup, some happened to jump into my purse and come to work w/me- really- those guys are already crazy most days, like they need MORE sugar. *L*)

OH well- onto the weekend... it starts in exactly 27 minutes (ok, maybe a few more minutes early if I duck outta here... ;) Haven't gotten much done this afternoon- the "GO" just kinda fizzled out.

Another week flies by! Seems like I'm getting good at this Friday posting thing. :) Above is a picture that I took on Monday at a nearby park. I had a great time snapping pictures of the kids- I think I figured out I took about 75 keepers- yup. Deleted a few that were blurry or not to my standards *L*

For the first time in about a month we have NOTHING planned for this weekend. Right now I have a few things in mind- scrapping and cleaning, getting fall/winter clothing out, etc. I'm also in the mood to cook right now. :) I have a recpie for Cinnamon Rolls at my fingertips, the Oatmeal Rasin cookies I've been dying to make, and fixings for Lasagna and Roast Turkey. SO if I'm lucky I can make all this sometime tomorrow and not have to cook the rest of the weekend. *L* A trip to 7 Springs might be in order as well- this is the last weekend for the Alpine Slide. :)

Another week gone by....

Wow. Just amazing how time flies here, don't you think???

Ryan will be delighted to know that a few friends and I decided to join in on a "no buy" challenge. Now. Here's me trying to hurry up and spend a little cash before this starts on Monday *L* It doesn't count things that we need for swaps and stuff- but I'd really like to order it and be done with it... and really not buy anything for a WHOLE month! (And to my credit I've been doing VERY well lately.) Heck- I have a swap due in December and that's it. I have NO more swaps. (unless I decide to step in and angel for a lady who dropped out. I was trying to be strong but I really liked that swap and didn't join it. Sounds like an omen, right? :)

I'm not sure if it's the amount of stuff I have, if I'm getting overloaded/overwhelmed... or heck, I just don't have anywhere else to put stuff anymore! I have so many projects and things I'd like to do- things in the works- and no time to do them. :( But really- I think I could scrap for a VERY long time and only need to buy adhesive and cardstock. (watch. Someone will have a Bazzill sale in the next month. Watch.)

What else??? Getting kinda big here. Can you believe I'm about 6 months preggo now??? Amazing to me. (And damn I look good, BTW. *L*) Still wearing my regular clothes to a point, but feeling the tightness. And I don't know who decided to change maternity clothing in the past 3 years- but I HATE them now. :( These low rise strange things. I wasn't hip before this pregnancy and right now the low rise thing only pushes my fat up. *L*

Hello FALL!!!!!!

Yup. It's offical- fall is here!!!! Today it's about mid 50's with rain... sorry for all who hate this but I'm LOVING it. Came to work today in sweats (ok, it's only cause my jeans aren't really fitting, but hey- these are WAY more comfy. :)

Not to much going on here- Last night was fun- right before bed I felt the baby kick! Was pretty cool and as much as I tried to wake up Ryan to check it out he was oblivious in one part and she got shy in another. *L* It must have been a "goodnight kick" or something. ;)

STILL no sign of the Christmas Studio G stamps around here- but I'm going to run over to JoAnn's today. Someone on Peas posted that Mike's wasn't going to get them- so at least I can quit wasting my time running over there constantly! Now... if only I could find that elusive DCWV Halloween glitter stack! (Yes, I've seen it online but #1 I don't want to buy it without SEEING it in person (picky, I know) and #2. I'm cheap. I don't want to pay full price PLUS shipping. *L*)

Oh well. I've been doing really well lately... might have to buy some new scrapping stuff today online.... I'm sure Ryan will be thrilled. ;) *L* I've been kinda in a funk lately- went to that retreat last weekend and really got a ton done. It's great to use stuff up- and lemme tell you how I have SO much paper. If I could get rid of 1/2 that patterened paper I have and turn it into bazzill I'd be set. ;)

Oh well.... going to get things going here- maybe get some work done. I am going home tonight and going to play Pogo for awhile. Yup, it's all my mom's fault- she's totally got me addicted to it. *sigh* ;)

Gotta love Wednesdays!!!

Really- the week is half over- you're that much closer to the weekend, it's just a day you gotta love! (and really- when you are taking Friday off work? It's that much better. *L*)

My only downside is that we have Ladies Aux meetings tonight. *sigh* I hate meeting at 8:30 at night. It just makes everything so late- and from getting up at 5-6am I'm darned tired by then.

What else? Oh, getting big here. I still haven't gained any weight- which I am THRILLED about- but I know it's going to happen sooner or later. But the tummy is getting bigger and clothes are starting not to fit. (Yup, it's only month 5 here, and that's awesome so far *L* I know with my kids I was in maternity clothes way before this.) And I'm so excited- I found a tip about using a rubber band in the button hole of jeans- could it be true? I could STILL WEAR my most favorite jeans?? I'd be giddy. :) I'm SO going to try this sometime soon... just as soon as it gets a LITTLE big colder- because 80's and jeans just don't match up for me. *L*

Today Ryan had 2 trees cut down in our yard. Kinda curious as to how it's going to look when I get home and I am wishing I was there to take pictures. He said there's a squirrel that is just SITTING on the stump of the tree. Sitting there. Poor little guy. :( (But poor little guy is posing for an AWFUL cute picture, I'm sure. *sigh*)

Ok, I'm done for today. Going to get going here and um.... um.... yeah. about that. Work? Or um, surf the net? Something like that?

It's FRIDAY! It's friday, it's friday, it's friday! Yup. I love these days. :) Passing time here at work until this afternoon- then it's to the crop! I'm heading out after work to go to a scrapping retreat. :) YAY! I have all my stuff packed up and ready to go- just as soon as work is over I'm on my way! :)





Got a TON of page kits all made, embellishments and adhesives packed- I'm hoping I didn't forget anything major. *L* The credit cards are in tow as well- I'm really excited about this for some reason. Usually I hate going to these things alone- I know a few gals that will be there but I have NO idea who I'll be sitting with or anything. Kinda nerve-racking, but such is life, right? And if I don't know anyone I'll get more pages done, right? :)

Got a really cute one of the kids too, but there are a ton of power lines and I'm not sure I like it too much. *sigh* Such is life. ;)

Going today to have a root canal done. Not really high on my list of fun things to do- but this darned tooth is starting to hurt- so if this is going to make it better then so be it.

Now the real question is- am I going to bring my butt back to work or am I going home afterwards. That won't be known until after all is said and done. One more hour to go. *insert eye roll here*

Happy news is that I am going away on a scrapping retreat this weekend. Right now I'm going it 'alone' - there will be girls there that I KNOW, but none of my bestest gal pals. It's just too bad I couldn't get my mom to come and make cards or something. *L* I just like the familiarity of having SOMEONE there- but I'm sure it'll be a nice little "mini-me" vacation. Right now I'm planning on coming home on Saturday night- but we'll see. I'd hate to not spend a day this weekend with the kids, so even though the retreat is thru Sunday, after dinner on Saturday I'll probably be packing up to head home.

Besides that there is just SO much going on this week- and next! I have running to do while at work, seems like my desk keeps getting piled w/work. Tonight I have to go help at a church- doing something crafty for them- next night is a FD fundraiser, Thurs is our elementary schools open house, and Friday I'm leaving for the retreat. *sigh*

NEXT week on Friday my buddy Jason comes home. :) VERY excited and even more happy that we're getting to pick him up at the airport. :) Yup. I'll have the camera in hand, I promise. *L* Needless to say during his 2 week leave we'll be having a fire/party at our house, I'm sure. And this fall weather is going to be PERFECT for it!!!

On Saturday is the Craft Show for the Fire Dept. So I have to make goodies for THAT too. (Ya know how people say that they wish they had more time in a day/week/month? Yeah. that.)

Not sure how I'm going to get this all done, but I have a feeling I'll be up REALLY late on Friday baking cookies. *L* Either that or taking off on Friday is an option, but we'll see. I feel like I've been taking off work lots lately and "making my own schedule"- but it could be just me. *L* I, like others, tend to be super critical of myself.
